Test method:

The hammer consists basically of a striking element which falls freely from rest through a vertical height (0~1000mm), selected from following table, on to the specimen surface held in a horizontal plane. The fall of the striking element (2J) shall be along a guideway, for example a tube, with negligible braking. This guideway shall not rest on the specimen and the striking element shall be free of the guideway on striking the specimen.

The height of fall shall be as giver in above table, the equivalent mass stated therein being equal to the actual mass of the striking element.

Operation steps:

A proper hammer is chose according to the related standard requirement. Place the sample on the bottom of the conduit and adjust the height of the conduit the height is measured by the ruler) Next, put the hammer on the top of the conduit and press the release button. Thus the impact hammer falls down and hit the sample.
